Structurally and Procedurally Simplified Soft Computing for Real Time Control
نویسندگان
چکیده
The present state of development of a new branch of Soft Computing (SC) developed for the adaptive control of a special class of non-linear coupled MIMO systems is reported. Its uniform structures are obtained from certain Lie groups unlike that of the traditional SC approaches. The adavantages are: a priori known and very reduced size, increase in lucidity; parameter tuning or learning is replaced by simple and short explicit algebraic procedure. The disadvantage is limited circle of applicability. Convergence consideratons are discussed for MIMO and SISO systems, too. Simulation examples are presented for the control of the inverted pendulum by the use of the generalized Lorentzian matrices. It is concluded that the method is promising and probably imposes acceptable convergence requirements in many practical cases.

Adaptive Simplified Model Predictive Control with Tuning Considerations
Model predictive controller is widely used in industrial plants. Uncertainty is one of the critical issues in real systems. In this paper, the direct adaptive Simplified Model Predictive Control (SMPC) is proposed for unknown or time varying plants with uncertainties. By estimating the plant step response in each sample, the controller is designed and the controller coefficients are directly ca...

The online observation of a construction site and processes bears significant advantage to all business sector. BIM is the combination of a 3D model of the project and a project-planning program which improves the project planning model by up to 6D (Adding Time, Cost and Material Information dimensions to the model). RFID technology is an appropriate information synchronization tool between the...
متن کاملSimple Machines for Scaling Human Motion
This paper describes a fast technique for modifying human motion sequences in a way that preserves physical properties of the motion. Reference motion may be obtained from any source: motion capture data, keyframed motion, or procedurally generated motion. We show that by deriving a simplified control system from motion data only, we are able to modify the motion in a physically realistic way a...
متن کاملA Hybrid Neural Network Approach for Kinematic Modeling of a Novel 6-UPS Parallel Human-Like Mastication Robot
Introduction we aimed to introduce a 6-universal-prismatic-spherical (UPS) parallel mechanism for the human jaw motion and theoretically evaluate its kinematic problem. We proposed a strategy to provide a fast and accurate solution to the kinematic problem. The proposed strategy could accelerate the process of solution-finding for the direct kinematic problem by reducing the number of required ...
متن کاملA context-sensitive dynamic role-based access control model for pervasive computing environments
Resources and services are accessible in pervasive computing environments from anywhere and at any time. Also, due to ever-changing nature of such environments, the identity of users is unknown. However, users must be able to access the required resources based on their contexts. These and other similar complexities necessitate dynamic and context-aware access control models for such environmen...
